Sprint ST 1050 NorWest Suspension Revalved Forks
I did some valving work for a 1050 sprint and the customer wanted a better handling bike and that was my main goal when I valved this set of forks, This is different than some I have done in the past as others prime consideration was retaining all the plushness of the stock bike and getting rid of the excessive dive. My goal on this one was to match as closely as possible the performance of the Racetech Gold Valves using stock valves and some different shims stacks. I ended up with a combination that the customer really enjoys and said has transformed the handling of the stock bike into a very twisties capable bike.
Here is a image comparing the Stock stack vs NorWest Suspension Revalve. As you can see the lower suspension velocities are considerably stiffer than stock yet it is still softer on the real high velocities to make for a more compliant ride on whatever road obstacles you might encounter in your ride.
