I recently had my shock done by TMod, and I can't express to you all how great it was to work with him, and what a fantastic job he did. We experienced logistical difficulty which was out of his control, and he helped get it sorted in fine fashion.
On top of that, I am absolutely stunned at how well the shock performs. I did this work just to have something that was rideable until this winter, at which point I would complete my plan of buying a Penske shock and doing a front end transplant. I just returned from a 2,800 mile trip up and down the Eastern US, with every kind of street riding you can do, from freeway droning to hours whistling along a largely traffic-free BRP, to blitzing Deals Gap, and I can't overstate the flawless performance of the shock.
The ride is firm but compliant, and regardless of how hard I rode, the shock kept up and then some. There is absolutely no reason I can think of to spend any more money to buy a shock when this kind of performance is available from TMod's service. I wouldn't track a Sprint, but if I were going to on a regular basis that would be a reason, because as good a job as TMod did, he isn't a magician, and there's no way to add in the required adjustability and heat/fade resistance needed for track performance. But short of that, the thing is spot on.
As a frame of reference, my last bike was a CBR1100XX, and it wore a Penske Triple built for me by Cogent Dynamics, and subsequently rebuilt and re-valved by Traxxion Dynamics, and it wasn't better in any way than the TMod'd stock Sprint shock (apart from the ability to adjust it obviously). The bike before that was a CBR1000F wearing a Penske double. Same deal. I've raced on high dollar suspension built by some of the top dudes in the US, so I do have a pretty good frame of reference for this stuff, and I haven't ever been as happy with such a small investment and modest expectations as I am with this shock.

Hi Terry, This week I've ridden about 1k miles through Arkansas's motorcycle perfect roads. Everything from 10mph switchbacks to high speed sweepers. You may recall that I'd wanted dampening adjusters. Well, they'd have been wasted weight. I wouldn't know which way to turn them as the set up you provided seems spot on. I haven't even adjusted preload. The bike is on rails, even when the road surface is less than perfect. I have no hesitation recommending your services.

Terry, Put the shock in and took it for a good 20 mile ride on a mix of roads.Everything from nice high speed smooth curves to typical frost chewed and marked country lanes. The shock worked exactly as I hoped. The acceleration compression was almost completely gone. Getting on the gas exiting high speed turns felt secure and planted. The excessive rebound was also gone, There is a right turn from a 50mph road I take every time I ride, it has a dip mid corner that used to really upset the bike if taken at speed, now it just rode through it with no drama.

Terry really listens to what his customers are looking for and goes the extra mile to make them happy. I look forward to working with Terry again!

My original stock shock showed signs of giving it up a few K-miles ago. The bike was wallowing in corners and generally un-settled on rough pavement. After sticker shock at the cost of a new aftermarket shock, I contacted Terry about re-building a stock shock to fit my needs. I needed the cornering firmed up, yet keeping the ride on the plush side for long-distance riding. On Saturday he delivered a re-valved, stock-sprung shock and helped me install it(pain). The results are WOW!!! I can't believe the changes he created in a stock shock! After a 150mi. ride, the bike stays planted in rough corners and does not wallow at all. Lastly, the suspension is not stiff at all!! I'd just like to say: "Thank you Terry". Great job, very reasonable cost!!

Terry recently rebuilt a shock for my Katana. The whole experience was very professional. I got a break down of the parts, and the cost of each, so I knew exactly what I was getting and how much it was going to cost. Terry took into count my weight and fine tuned the suspension to fit me personally. Terry even called me personally when he had an unexpected problem with my shock. Now about the product: I cant believe how much of a difference the shock has had on my bike. It was practically a brand new bike. Previously the bike has three inches of sag at its stiffest setting. With the new shock the bike now has a little over one inch of sag.

The performance of my motorcycle has greatly improved. Now as I lean into a corner the rear end stays planted. Before it would often feel as if the rear end was sliding away, now the tire stays firmly to the ground and allows me to use the suspension to add traction in the corners.

I recently sent Terry a spare rear shock for my 03 GSXR1000 racebike and he performed his magic act on it and sent it back. I put it on the bike and took it to Chuckwalla (brand new track) to test it out. Since Chuckwalla is really smooth, I can't attest to the bump-handling capabilities however, I can say that the bike was extremely well planted in the corners and was not wheelie prone at all (which doesn't happen with the stock shock) I'm waiting to take the bike to Button "Bumpy"willow to see how it does with bump absorption however, as far as handling goes, I have never had as much confidence in the rear on the bike as I do now.

Recently purchased a new reavalved/respring 750 shock, and front fork springs and spacer, for my 99 750. When i bought the bike, the stock suspension was overly pathetic for my wieght, and with the Girlfriend, untollerable! the new suspension is perfect and makes the bike feel brand new! it now has USEABLE adjustability on the front and rear, and it in the Perrrrrfect sag range. All his work was plug and play! the rear shock was all together and clean, and the front fork springs where packaged well, and even came with PRECUT spacers! (cutting small increments in thin aluminum like material sucks!) quick shipping, quality work, great results, outstanding customer support!

Terry took care of my rear shock as well, new spring for my weight and did some re-valving. The bike rides like something I've never known. A++++ man, best work I've ever had done.
