Shock Rebuild/Revalve
At NorWest Suspension we cover every detail when rebuilding/revalving your shock whether it be for a street or dirt application. We completely dis-assemble the shock then clean and inspect for any pitting or surface damage to the shock tube, bushing wear, or damage to any of the other hard parts in the shock. If you have any issues we will call and discuss the issues with you before replacing any parts that are above and beyond what was discussed when we received the shock.
We polish the shock shaft and create a crosshatch pattern on it for proper oil retention for the seals and this will aid in stiction reduction so you get a smoother operating shock. We use Spectro suspension fluid as it has a high VI (Viscosity Index) and has a stiction reduction additive package in it to make for a smoother shock operation.
We then meticulously rebuild/revalve to your rider weight and skill level as well as terrain ridden. We will return the shock to you at a preset setting and if you should need to tweak it we will be more then happy to assist in this. If you are local you are more then welcome to bring the bike by and I can set it for you here no charge.
Below is the pricing and we do not include any parts or oil in the pricing as sometimes the customer supplies the parts and fluid and if you have a new bike with just a few miles we are not going to charge you for something if there is nothing wrong with what you have. Also the pricing on different seals and fluids will vary. We are not listing hard part pricing as there are several vendors out there and we will go with the vendor where we can save you the most money but not compromise on quality and durability.
