07 YZ450F Seal & Free Piston Service

Received in a set of 07 YZ450F (KYB) forks for just a seal replacement but upon dis-assembly found the free pistons cracked in both forks, This is a relatively common issue with the KYB twin chamber forks and with a minor investment a fairly easy one to remedy. There are several options to the OEM free piston replacement and shown in the images below is the SDI KYB Free piston, They are manufactured from aluminum and extremely durable compared to the OEM piston.
