Kioti Factory Installed Linked Pedal Fix

If you have a factory installed Kioti link pedal and it stays engaged no matter the lever position this post may be of some help to you. It could be a simple cable adjustment or it could be what I ran into on mine. The lever underneath the frame has excessive side play and can get caught and stay in the engaged position regardless of the lever position in the driver compartment. It is a fairly simple fix but I took the time to machine a washer the exact thickness that I needed.

So here is a image of the lever under the frame that is caught in the engaged position even though the lever in the drivers compartment is disengaged.

Here is a image of how the link should be positioned with the lever in the dis-enaged position.

Image here is a look at the washer in place and the dimensions for it, Models may vary so no guarantee on thickness.

Location of cable adjuster under left side dash shroud.

When adjusting the cable you want to adjust it so the roller will fit in the saddle as shown in the following image.

Ok that is all that is required if you have this issue and once corrected you should be problem free.
