Odes PCV Valve Elimination

Some of you may have read about eliminating the oem PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve.

I originally came across this when oil started coming out of the grommet that has the stator wires in it.

I did a very non scientific test and put a plastic bag over the oil filler tube (Odes 1000) and watched at idle as it blew up the plastic bag, Then removed the PCV valve and still had a slight inflation but nothing like it was.

So with that information I proceeded to bypass and remove the PCV valve and never had an issue after that.

Here are some pics on how to do this bypass on a Odes 1000, 800's are similar but the vent hose goes in the grommet on the intake pipe.

First off this is what the PCV looks like.

This is the location on both 800's and 1000's.
